"John Branch, son of Peter Branch, b. 1628. (John and Pter Branch sailed for America on ship "Castle". Peeter Branch died and was buried at sea. His will recorded in Boston, Mass. They had 6 children: John b. 1654 killed at Rebohath in King Phillip's War in 1676, Elizabeth b 1655-married Abel Cook, PETER b. May 28, 1659, d. Preston , Conn Dec 27, 1713, Thomas, Mercy and Experience. John was leeutenant during Indian War. John died may 17, 1711 at Branch Island. (All children b. Branch Island.
